OUR STORY

Rooted in Heritage. Crafted for the World.

NOUR is a premium heritage and lifestyle brand dedicated to preserving the timeless artistry of Kashmir and bringing it to a global audience. Through our carefully curated collection of Pashmina shawls, luxury textiles, handcrafted décor, carpets, and artisanal creations, we celebrate authenticity, craftsmanship, and enduring elegance.

The hands that create beauty deserve recognition

Timeless luxury, with purpose

Behind every creation is a skilled artisan whose talent has been passed down through generations. Yet many of these craftsmen remain unseen and underappreciated. At NOUR, we give artisans a distinct identity, showcase their craftsmanship to the world, and help build a sustainable future for their communities.

Authentic Kashmiri craft

Every piece is sourced directly from skilled artisans and trusted craftsmen in Kashmir, so authenticity and quality are never in question.

The finest materials

Hand-spun Pashmina, hand-knotted carpets and hand-painted papier-mâché — made slowly, by hand, using materials chosen for a lifetime of use.

10% TO ARTISANS

10% of our profits are dedicated directly to supporting artisan communities, helping preserve their craft and improve their livelihoods.

Our Mission

At NOUR, our mission is to preserve and celebrate the craftsmanship of artisans who dedicate their lives to creating timeless works of art yet often remain unrecognized and underserved. We are committed to giving these skilled craftsmen a global platform, a distinct identity, and the appreciation they deserve. As part of this commitment, 10% of our profits are dedicated directly to supporting artisan communities, because we believe true luxury is not only about what we create, but also about the lives we empower.

The Crafts We Carry

Kani weaving

The pattern is built into the cloth itself with small wooden bobbins, each carrying a single colour, worked to a coded script. One elaborate shawl can occupy a weaver for months.

Sozni embroidery

Needlework so fine the design can appear printed. The very best sozni reads almost identically on both faces of the cloth.

Naqashi painting

Papier-mâché built by one artisan and painted by another, in brushes sometimes no thicker than a few hairs, then sealed under lacquer.

“True luxury is not defined by what we create, but by the lives we uplift and the legacy we preserve.”
