Yes. We source directly from the artisans who do the work rather than through middlemen, which is what lets us tell you how a piece was made. If you would like to check for yourself, our Our Craft page sets out the honest tests for Aari embroidery and Pashmina — including which common “proofs” are not proof at all.
Because it is. Each Riwaayat suit is made as a single edition — one design, one colourway, one size — and is never reproduced. The same is true across most of the catalogue, which is why stock shows as a single piece and why an item can sell out permanently rather than being restocked.
Our pieces are made individually rather than in a size run, so we measure to order instead of publishing a generic chart. Send us the product name via our contact page and we will give you its exact dimensions the same working day. There is more on cut and fit under Size & Care.
SHIPPING & RETURN
Yes. We ship worldwide from Srinagar. Charges are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, and customs duties or import taxes, where they apply, are the responsibility of the customer.
Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days, with tracking sent on dispatch. Delivery within India is ₹150, and free on orders over ₹10,000.
Returns can be requested within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused, unworn and in their original condition and packaging. Full details are on our Return & Refund Policy page.
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and we will put it right. Once a returned item is received and inspected, eligible refunds go back to the original payment method.
PAYMENT
Major credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking and popular wallets, alongside cash on delivery and direct bank transfer.
Prices are listed and charged in Indian Rupees (INR). You can browse approximate prices in USD, GBP, EUR or AED using the currency switcher, but your order is always charged in INR.
Yes. Payments are handled by our secure payment provider — card details are processed entirely by them and are never stored on our systems.
